Links The Moorhen website has a new photo every day of the wildlife in a (large) garden near Milton Keynes.  The British Dragonfly Society has a wealth of information on all the native dragonflies and damselflies.  The Buckinghamshire Bird Club covers part of the area around Leighton Buzzard and Linslade.  This site has lots of useful information - it's not limited to just the National Insect Week, which occurs in the Spring.  The Natural History Museum website has lots of fascinating information about wildlife.  Gerry Whitlow's photos of kites in the Chilterns.  Kites have been seen locally but I haven't managed to take a photo of one yet.  The Bedfordshire Bird Club.  The North Bucks branch of the RSPB, covers Milton Keynes but also has occasional meetings in Leighton Buzzard.  The Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Northamptonshire.  Leighton-LInslade Town Council has a list of parks and open spaces that you can visit  The Greensand Trust works locally to conserve the local wildlife and landscape - you can even get involved.  Bedfordshire Natural History Society.  Bedfordshire Odonata (Dragonflies and Damselflies), plus a few other photos.  British Bees, Wasps and Ants Recording Society.  Has a good gallery of photos and you can join a forum to ask for help in identifying species.  The Garden Safari website has lots of information and great photos of  the animal life you're likely to find in your garden.  John Curd has taken some worthwhile photos at Sandhouse Lane Nature Reserve in Heath and Reach.
