Female Leafcutter Bees collect pollen on brushes all over the underside of the abdomen - hence its yellow colour.





Ichneumon and Cinnabar Moth larva
  An Ichneumon (a kind of wasp) injecting an egg into a Cinnabar Moth larva in Linslade Woods, 5 August 2019.
The egg will hatch and grow inside the larva, eating its host and finally killing it before it flies away. The ovipositor is very long and is bent from the rear of the Ichneumon under its body and is seen here projecting under its head.
